We have had some customers experiencing problems with online ordering. If this happens to you, please call us on 01883 718217 and we can take your payment securely by telephone. Please always leave a message if no reply and someone will call back as soon as they can.
Due to delivery charges constantly going up we have had to increase the cost of the 10 x refills. However, we have now added to the buy online page a special price of 20 x Blockblaster Refills for £14.99. This makes a saving of £4.99 and having a nice stock of refills at home. Be sure to take up this offer, as don't forget each refill does the same job equivalent to a bottle of nasty corrosive chemicals. Happy Blasting!
On Saturday 23rd August, We did our first show selling the Blockblaster Mini. Sales were fantastic and hopefully this will become a regular gig. Have often had many customers suggesting TV shopping, its a great way of explaining and demonstating this great little gadget. We have since had another show and were delighted to have sold out of the Blockblaster Mini. This clearly reinforces what a great product it is, and a perfect gift for a student/DIY fanatic/Domestic Goddess. With Christmas nearly upon us be sure to get one ahead of all the turkey fat and family sleepovers when household blockages can catch you unaware!
Due to all non-flammable compressed gases now prohibited e.g. air bags; scuba tanks, carbon dioxide; fire extinguishers; neon and nitrogen, we are no longer able to post gas refills or Blockblaster Mini by Royal Mail. Therefore we will now be sending these items by courier service and will usually be on a next day service. We have had to add an extra charge to these items for this service, but remember you can purchase them in Robert Dyas stores. We will keep you updated when other retail outlets start stocking our products. We will be exhibiting at The Ideal Home Show in Earls Court from Friday 14th March to Sunday 30th where you will also be able to pick up supplies.
Delighted to announce that the new Blockblaster Mini won the gold award for best tool product at The Totally DIY & Tools Show in Coventry. This new mini handheld sink, bath & shower unblocker proved to hold its own against other great products being showcased. We have high hopes for this clever tool due to the ease and effective results it achieves. It was also noted how this would appeal to the elderly & disabled because there's no plunging involved! Well done BB mini! A very proud day!
Having listened to Christian O'Connell from Absolute radio moaning about his blocked sink on his breakfast show yesterday, we didnt delay in sending him a Blockblaster. We had one delivered that same day, but was a little too late as he managed to unblock it himself by dismantling the pipe work and pulling out a slimy thick hair ball! However on his show the following day he gave us a massive plug on air describing our product like a hockey stick shaped nerf gun! Although he had sorted out his sink he said he couldn't wait to have a go at using it anyway! In was interesting by contrast that Dyno Rod had called the show and offered to come and fix his sink in exchange for an interview which caused some unfortunate ribbing for them! Thank you Christian for supporting us and now you never need to repeat that messy job as your Blockblaster will do it for you!
We are very excited to have the blockblaster and gas refills now available to purchase from Robert Dyas. You can buy our products online from their website or in their larger branches. In July 2012, Theo Paphitis who is probably best known for his role on Dragons' Den added the 96-store homeware chain (www.robertdyas.co.uk) to his retail portfolio. Theo’s retail group now includes almost 350 stores nationwide, with 3,600 employees serving over 28 million customers a year. They are curious and interested in the new and they scour the world for the latest products and nifty solutions that make homemaking easier. They are not interested in the flimsy or throwaway. For them, new products must be enduring as well as innovative. So we are more than delighted that Robert Dyas were so impressed with the Blockblaster that they took our product on. In the early days it was passed around head office for everyone to trial and the response was fabulous! Not a blockage to be found now! Sales have exceeded expectation and we will soon be launching the *NEW* Blockblaster Mini in the new year which intends to be bigger than ever! More information on the Mini to follow very soon.
I had a really annoying slow drainage sink in my downstairs cloakroom. It was forever flooding my hallway as the kids would flush the chain, wash their hands and think they had turned off the tap. After the toilet had filled, the tap carried on running but for some reason took yonks to drain - hence the overflow. We tried putting One Shot down the sink, which is a really nasty acid hoping it would dissolve whatever was causing the block, that didn't work. We dismantled the pipe work expecting to find it clogged, but that was empty and clear. We called a plumber who rodded over 5 metres (the most he had) and that too didn't work. We were all at a loss with what to do next, when the plumber suggested we reattach the sink to the waste pipe of the toilet, which wasn't ideal and would need to redecorate to accomodate the new pipework. During this time my husband who regulary visits the Far East was in Hong Kong at a trade fair and came across a product called Mr Pung! It was manufactured in Korea and was a simple plunging system that uses CO2 gas cartridges. He managed to get hold of one and thought as a last resort, it may work on our sink. I was a bit sceptical, seeing as a plumber couldn't sort it, but was willing to give it a try! We covered the overflow hole with duct tape, filled the sink up with water then used the green basin attachment. We were a little worried as to how powerful the blast was going to be, but once we had covered the sinkhole and pressed the button [...]
